Educated at the Universities of Sheffield and Edinburgh, Bob O'Neil returned to his native Cumbria after spells in architectural practice in Cheshire, Fife and New York City. A 'hands-on' Architect, Bob enjoys the craft of construction and has attended lime workshops, joinery classes and the 'Repair of Old Buildings' course at the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. Bob is a PLACED ambassador, has tutored on the Architecture degree programme at the University of Central Lancashire and regularly teaches at Kendal College. Outside the studio, Bob is a keen cyclist, squash player, gig attendee and long suffering fan of Carlisle United F.C. and the New York Mets baseball club.
